Notes from building editxr.
Emoji and symbol widths differ from one terminal to the next, so terminal tables drift out of alignment. editxr 1.6 fixes it by measuring the real glyph width live instead of guessing — plus a new docked outline / file sidebar.
A folder of Markdown notes, navigable from the shell: [[wikilinks]], quick-open, and following links between files — without leaving the terminal. Now on macOS, Linux and Windows.
The terminal became my home again — so I built a WYSIWYG Markdown editor that renders as you type and edits sections with reviewable AI diffs, without ever leaving the shell.
